Pretty in Pink
You often hear that kids grow up in a blink of an eye. And as a parent myself, I definitely agree. We had the pleasure of capturing this moment for Alicia and her daughter. Seems just like yesterday, when we were photographing Alicia and her fiancé’s engagement session and then later their wedding. With the pandemic, we were unable to shoot her maternity session, but were excited to hear that she would be making a trip down to West Palm Beach and wanted us to photograph her mommy and me session. We enjoy seeing our client’s family grow and appreciate that they trust us with these special moments even after their wedding day.
Although her husband was unable to make this trip, I will look forward to their next visit and capturing the entire family. Alicia and I talked about the theme that she wanted for her mommy and me session. When she mentioned that she was interested in a garden and flowers theme, I knew the perfect area that could also give that type of feel. She chose a unique floral dress and dressed her daughter in two very adorable pink and yellow outfits that also had floral elements. The weather that day was perfect, especially since it was constantly raining here in Florida. We went to Palm Beach and had a few locations in mind that were very close in proximity. In some of the images below, you may notice some bubbles that she had brought along to grab her daughter’s attention. We often suggest parents bring noise making toys and items that can help your child look at the camera or put on a smile. They added a very nice look to the images.
