Beautiful Day at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens
Shakelia and Kiron's session was stunning at the beautiful Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Nicole and I got the chance to really check out the place when we went to visit the museum a few weeks prior. The architecture and greenery were amazing. We visited both the inside of the building and walked around the outside. The museum showcased great historical details. And also has such a tranquil atmosphere with the water and the garden feel. We had a blast shooting this beautiful couple and can't wait for their upcoming wedding day late this year. Shakelia and Kiron chose a black and green color scheme for their formal outfit for their first look. And later in the day, changed to a more casual look with a combination of white and pink. It was great getting to know both of them better before their big day. Shakelia told us how Kiron had proposed after their walk on the beach. Being his usual silly self, she had walked away. And that’s when Kiron called her back. She was completely caught off guard when she had turned around and Kiron was down on one knee proposing to her. After 2 and a half years together, they knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. During the planning of their session, we communicated virtually since she was out of state, and he was out of the country. But everything came together beautifully. During the session, we got to see Shakelia's bubbly personality and Kiron's funny humor, which are some of the things they love about each other. It was our pleasure photographing them.
